New Features Available on the All-New 2020 Chevrolet Traverse

Have you recently seen a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse in Cary and thought how wonderful it looks? Maybe you’re planning to visit Victory Chevrolet Charlotte in Charlotte for a test drive.

If yes, you should know that this car has been completely updated and revamped from its older models. Here are some changes you will see:

1. The Active Aero Vents feature has been done away with

Chevy introduced Active Aero Vents technology in 2018 to make the Chevrolet Traverse more fuel-efficient, aerodynamic, and safe. But, come 2020 and you won’t be seeing this feature anymore (in all Traverse trims except for the High Country).

2. The old Chevrolet Infotainment System has been replaced

The brand new Chevrolet Infotainment System 3 with the 7-inch touchscreen color display on a leather base has become standard on all 2020 Chevrolet Traverse models. The 8-inch screen and built-in navigation are optional.

3. An engine option has been permanently stopped

The 2-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine, which was available in the 2019 models, has been done away with. But don’t worry. The car is just as powerful and extremely eco-friendly. In its place is the 3.6 V-6 LFY engine. There is also new trailering equipment that comes with the Chevrolet Traverse.

4. New exterior colors

The older colors of Havana Brown Metallic, Pepperdust Metallic, and Black Currant Metallic have been taken out. In their stead, you’ll get these colors - Midnight Blue Metallic, Stone Gray Metallic, and Black Cherry Metallic.

5. Technology additions are in place

The 2020 Chevrolet Traverse will now come with HD Surround Vision, HD Rear Vision Camera, and Hitch Guidance with Hitch View. These are expected to make the drive more enjoyable and safer.

6. New exteriors are in place

Instead of the old 20-inch SP6 & SLY machined-face aluminum wheels, you’ll now find Q6S and Q6T wheel types on the car. There’s also a 5-digit programmable Keyless Entry Keypad fitted to the driver’s side.

Other package changes

  • Numerous packages like the Confidence II Package, LT Premium Package, Interior Protection Package and the Blackout Package have all undergone some changes.
